[Question #12319] Real Risk

Sorry also wanted to add risk for gono and clymidia for the rimming to me. Is this even an issue or have you heard of it? Public nurse first said maybe do a swab then she changed her mind. Public health said zero risk Hiv or Hep b and syphilis really not a concern but 6 weeks was the suggestion if i decided. If I see no sore and I see in some of your responses with no sore the chances are even less.

Thank you

Ok..thx

Risk is unprotected oral and rimming received
Tested 22 days neg hiv syphilis gono and clymidia.  Assuming she does this to other people what is my real risks? Zero? I need re assurance.  Please note this is my only act outside my marriage. Let's assume she does it to other people as it was at an Asian spa. It's 32 days and considering testing. Risk for hep b..hiv and syphilis?

I broke it down to 2 comments as it kept getting erased
I was moved on from this then my wife got sick. About a week after exposure we had sex.. 2 weeks later she got a nasal and ear infection. She was on amoxicillin for 10 days. Day 7 she broke out with a rash. Arms legs and tummy. Little itchy. Doctor stopped her right away. Now subsiding. Doctor doesn't believe it's to do with the meds vs a viral infection. Now I'm here.

Your tests prove that you were not infected by the low risk exposure you describe.  Believe your tet results- they are highly reliable.  No medical or scientific need to test for hepatitis, HIV or syphilis in your situation.

Your wife's illness is a change event, unrelated to your dalliance.  Don't go down a rabbit hole on this- believe your test results.  EWH

I appreciate your answer and thank you for what you do for people. I was wondering if you could just add to my follow up.
So I'm sure you can understanding I'm worried.
I tested only at 22 days. Not 32.
You didn't advise on the rimming to me? Or was that included in the overall no risk event? Is no risk the same as zero?

After this I will try to move on.

Sorry I see you put low risk?
With the tests I completed does it make it a zero risk for everything else? I will pay again if I have to as i know I'm at the limit. Just trying to get clarity.

Thank you sir.

Receipt of oral sex and rimming are no risk activities for HIV.  In terms of other STIs, the risk is very low before your tests were available and the tests prove that you were not infected.

No need to pay again.  No need for additional testing.  I hope that your wife's unrelated illness is better.  EWH.

I understand the challenge.  Be confident in your test results.  Work to address any guilt that yiu may be feeling.  You are not the cause of your wife's recent illness.

This will complete this thread which will be closed shortly.  Please don't worry.  There should be no need to return to the Forum.  EWH
