[Question #12334] Testing
|
Goodmorning
Sorry to be back but I have a few more questions and the thread was closed understandably. I see in some other questions people have went back and asked the other person for verification of thier status. If it was negative that means it was not possible to pass on hiv? In my case I know I've been told no risk but can you pass on hiv to someone then test negative yourself 2 weeks later? Hopefully this makes sence.
As well im trying to move on and take deep breaths. Is doing a full std check usless at 33 days as I see u have changed recommendations.?
You said no testing necessary..just wanted to confirm.
I dont think I have any questions after this.
Thank you sir

Welcome back, but sorry you found it necessary. You are mistaken: users do not have the option of selecting the moderato; if one of us replies after the other, it's only by chance -- just like this time -- not because of such a request. Dr. Hook and I have been close colleagues for over 40 years and although our writing styles aren't the same, our answers or advice never are significantly different. I agree entirely with his advice.
---
Of course HIV cannot be transmitted by someone who tests negative. No testing is needed.

Sorry Doctor
I didn't request anyone. I am happy with either of you replying.
I am assuming you to a look at my previous questions and agree with Mr hook. If that is the case then i appreciate you and your time. Just want to make sure you didn't get me mixed up with someone else and you saw my story as I said I didn't request anyone.
All the best
Cheers

Well, it sure sounded like you were seeking a second opinion: "...in some other questions people have went back and asked the other person for verification of thier status."

Yes, I read your previous question and Dr. Hook's replies. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
---Take care-- thanks for the thanks--
