Welcome to the forum. Thank you for your question and your confidence in our services.
I suspect you realize the redness and flakiness of your scrotum cannot be due to any infection from the sexual exposure; probalby you understand that no STD -- in fact no infection of any kind -- can start to cause symptoms that fast. I think you're concerned that possible inflammation of the skin of your scrotum might have increased your risk of HIV. However, that is not a realistic concern. Exposure of intact skin -- even with inflammation (redness etc) -- is not a risk for HIV even with contact with HIV infected blood or other body fluids. Also, if your scrotum now looks normal, that's further evidence nothing was really wrong.
All in all, there is no realistic chance you acqured HIV. You really needn't worry about it. I do not advise testing; and if you have a regular partner, you can safely continue your usual sexual pratices without putting her (or him) at risk.
I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear or you have any further questions about it.

Thanks for the thanks. You're welcome. The thread will remain open another day or two in case something else comes to mind (on this topic, not a new issue of some sort).---
