[Question #12362] Bump near Libia Majora area

Had protected sex 2x tonight with Chinese escort. I noticed at the end she had a flesh colored bump next to her Libia majora area. I showed her and asked her what it was. She claimed that it happens when she is mad (said the local area isn't as profitable as hoped, and diet). I told her the answers were weird. She said she gets tested often. She knew I had concern. She has been to the major cities so she gets around.

Not sure what to think. All I can say it was flesh colored, moved with the skin as i touched it (perfectly round). It was kinda dark. Your thoughts? Do I need to do anything? I'm married. Syphilis, Herpes, and Warts are my main concerns.

Welcome back to the Forum. Thanks for your questions.  I'll be glad to comment.

It sounds as though the bump you describe was familiar to your partner and that it comes and go. This is most suggestive of a cyst of the sort that can increase and decrease in size from time to time and does not sound like an STI.  It may have been a skin tag, a cyst or some other benign dermatological process.  Perhaps even a wart although your description does not suggest this.  It certainly does not sound at all like a syphilis or herpes lesion.  If it was a wart, it would be most uncommon for it to come and go as her description suggests and that is not something to worry about.  As discussed extensively on other threads on the Forum, if you have not had the HPV vaccine, you most likely already have HPV and if you are vaccinated, you hare more than 95% protected against the HPV types that cause most visible warts.

I would not worry and do not see a reason to test related to this lesion.  EWH

Ya, I did more research since I posted this question. It's funny how anxiety makes us doubt our memories. Should of ran a photo through chat gpt.
My research says a new infection would be a reddish papule that slowly turns into a reddish chanchre? I'm assuming I would be more afraid if I recalled either seeing either one of those. However, my anxiety will likely keep me from fully trusting my memory making me always wondering and without a solid photo to compare.

If I just monitor myself, how many days would I do such for? And if nothing happens, I'm assuming it's not 100% "all clear" due to rare cases of asymptomatic people? If true, what percentage would you say one one would be "all clear" based on no symptoms within your prescribed period of monitoring time? 60%, 80% or maybe even 95% certainty level?

I think monitoring yourself sounds fine.  If you were going to develop a herpes lesion, it would appear within 10 days of the encounter, for syphilis lesions occur, on average by day 21, and warts can take several months to appear.  I remain skeptical that any of these will occur.  Should a lesion occur, my advice would be t see a trained clinician, perhaps a dermatologist depending in what you see, for an authoritative diagnosis.

A word of warning as well.  When client are nervous they sometimes overly vigorously examine themselves, leading to irritation.  If a lesion were to appear, it should be obvious and not require squeezing or other manipulation.  EWH

Ok, final question. Any credence to her saying that anger and/or diet can cause? Seems like stress induced occurrences can be attributed to immune response, giving more plausible notion to viral origins? Any thoughts here?

I am not aware of any sort of dermatological process that changes with fluctuating emotions.

As you note, we provide up to 3 responses to each client's questions.  This is my 3rd response so the thread will be closed shortly without further responses.  Please try not to worry.  EWH
