Hello Dr , I want to ask a question about my risk exposure , Before 1 mounth I received oral sex which last 1 minute, the giver was total stranger from the the bar , I was drunk and I can't remember it she was women or trans , after 2 days I start to feel burning while urinatation and I go to make urineanylasis and urine culture everything was ok. After that I start to feel itching on my scrotum and feeling uncomfortable in the penis but I don't have discharge or ulcers on the genitals . I have today one boil on my inner thigh which is red and it's hurting . And I'm anxious a lot because I was reading on internet about the STD and my anxiety it's high because Im married I'm worried about my wife

Welcome to the Forum.  Thanks for your confidence in our service.  I'll be glad to comment.  The exposure you describe was very low risk.  Few STIs are tranmistted through receipt of oral sex.  There are no proven cases in which HIV has been acquired from receipt of oral sex.  The only STI you could possibly be at meaningful risk for is gonorrhea and if you acquired gonorrhea, which is also unlikely, there is a 90% probability you would develop penile symptoms (penile discharge, burning on urination) within 3-5 days of your encounter with this person.  The fact that your urinalysis was negative is further although not perfect evidence that you did not get gonorrhea (or chlamydia) from this exposure.  If you wish to prove this conclusively, you should get a urine test for gonorrhea.

The itching and uncomfortable feeling you describe are more likely to be due to you anxiety and looking for symptoms than an infection- the symptoms of infection are typically obvious and do not come and go.  The boil on your inner thigh is does not suggest an STI either- it is in the wrong location as well as not sounding like an STI.

I would not worry.  I hope this information will help you to not worry as well.  EWH

If there is no lesion, a syphilis test is not needed (your boil does not count).  If you choose to test for syphilis for the purpose of reassurance, it should be performed at least 4 weeks after your exposure.

I should have also mentioned that your circumcision status does not matter either.

You have one follow-up remaining.  EWH

And this itching and burning sensation in the groins are not signs for STD ?

That is a repetitive question and the answer is still no.

This completes this thread.  There should be no need to return with further questions.  EWH
