[Question #12517] Massage Risks

Dr.
I went to get a massage 2 days ago and at the end of the massage i allowed (yes so stupid) the lady to give me a handjob and I sucked her nipples.  There was no saliva used for the handjob just lotion I assume but room light was dim.  Yesterday about 32 hours later massage I went to urinate and after finishing still had a feeling of urinating (urinary retention?).  I have been feeling the same since and very uncomfortable.  The tip of my penis/urethra feels a little sensitive but no burning or discharge/cloudy urine.

Did I put myself at risk of gonorrhea, chlamydia, or anything else from this stupid decision?  I hope im not the first or my life will be over.  I read the other responses and it seems like no risk but my constant feeling of needing to urinate is worrisome.  Should I take 2g of Azithromycin at one time to be safe?  Would this take care of any STI?  Do you recommend testing for anything?

Welcome back to the Forum.  I'll be glad to comment.  The encounter you describe included receipt of masturbation and sucking your partner's nipples.  Each of these activities is entirely no risk for acquistion of any STI.  There is no need for concern and no medical or scientific reason for testing of any sort.  Some of our clients choose to test for the additional assurance that a negative test provides.  Should you choose to do this, I am confident that the test will show no STI.

FYI, urinary urgency (i.e. feeling the need to pee) is not a sign of any STI but it certainly can be the result of anxiety.  further, the onset of your symptoms is too soon to be caused by an STI acquired at the time of your encounter.  I suspect that is what is going on here.

I see no need to take any antibiotic, including azithromycin.  Going forward, having taken azithromycin would only complicate any efforts to evaluate your symptoms.

I hope that this information is helpful  Please don't worry.  EWH

Thank you for the quick reply.
Im hoping my urinating feeling is something else and goes away.  If not i will need to see the doctor.  The timing of the urinating feeling concerns me i might be the unlucky person.  If I were to take 2g of Azithromycin would that clear gonorrhea,  chlamydia, or any infection?  At this point I don't know what to do, im so stupid.  I don't want to risk giving my wife anything.  If my handjob exposure was no risk would it be okay to just take the Azithromycin?  Can it hurt me?  Based on my issue is it okay to continue sex with my wife or wait for urinating feeling to go away?  I have been drinking lots of water.  If my urine gets cloudy or starts burning then I'm screwed.  Then your opinion will probably change?

As I have already told you, your symptoms began too early to possibly be caused by any STI acquired at the encounter you described.  Taking azithromycin will not hurt you, but it would be expected to cure only slightly more than half of gonorrhea and 90% of chlamydia infections. As I said earlier, taking azithromycin will only confuse things if your symptoms continue.

My opinion is based on science and has nothing to do with the color of your urine. EWH.

Im not worried about the color of my urine.  The color is fine.
I forgot to mention the day (3 days ago) before the massage I ate some deep fried food that burned the inside gums of my top and bottom teeth.  Nothing was bleeding just irritated and raw feeling gums.  They are still a little irritated/raw today and healing.  Is this considered a real risk if her nipples had blood, discharge, or milk if she has HIV since my gums were raw and irritated?  Yes now an HIV concern. I've been having dry mouth the last few days in addition to the constant feeling of having to urinate.  Im hoping it's dehydration causing my health concerns.  So based on my 3 posts there is no chance of getting HIV or STI's?  No testing needed and can continue sex life at home?

HIV is not acquired in adults through ingestion of infected material including breast milk, discharge or blood.  The presence of raw, irritated areas within your mouth does not change this.  This was a no risk event with no need for concern or testing.  There is no reason related to this encounter to change your sexual activities at home

We provide up to three responses to each client's questions.  This is my 3rd response and therefore the thread will now be closed.  Please don't worry.  EWH
