[Question #12544] Hiv testing

Hi doctor I took a 4th generation ag ab hiv test 58 days post exposure and it came back negative and I also took the insti hiv test 65 days post exposure and negative as well. How accurate are these results and are they considered conclusive? I'm having stomach ache and feel nauseas for like 2 weeks now. Is there a chance of a false negative by this point?

The answers are obvious from your previous threads. HIV doesn't cause nausea or stomach pain, and you can't have HIV symptoms and test negative. Dr. Hook's closing comment a few days ago was "Please do not return. If you do the question may be closed without a reply and without return of your posting fee." This policy is based on compassion, not criticism, and is intended to reduce temptations to keep paying for questions with obvious answers. In addition, experience shows that continued answers tend to prolong users' anxieties rather than reducing them. Finally, such questions have little educational value for other users, one of the forum's main purposes.
