Hello doctor I use translator so there may be some parts that are not understood please excuse me. On August 1st (5.5 months ago) I had gonorrhea after protected vaginal unprotected oral sex with an escort and I used various antibiotics. During this period I was tested on the 6th week by following your writings. I had many combo tests before and I had a combo test on the 90th day. Due to cluster headache I used prednol 16mg once a day for 10 days and cafergot during the attack. After these medications my skin started to dry out. I had 7-8 acne-like skin rashes on my chest area and I noticed swelling in my neck lymph nodes. Unfortunately this situation triggered my HIV anxiety and I had a combo test 2 days after I stopped taking the medication and it came back negative but unfortunately the HIV fear came to my mind again. A dermatologist said that such a low dose of prednol would not cause acne. I want to ask this. The medication I use is an immune suppressant. Did it lower the antibodies in my blood and cause my test to be false negative? If not, is the skin rash on my chest a symptom that someone who had HIV 6 months ago could give? Some doctors in my country said that the test period could be 6 months or even 1 year. The reason for this is that the body may react late and the viral load I have. I am faced with the fear of HIV again. Do I need to be tested again? (If the symptoms were due to HIV, it would have shown up in the test I took 2 days later after the symptoms)

Welcome to our Forum.  Thanks for your questions.  I think your questions are clear.  For your information, gonorrhea is much, much easier to acquire than HIV.  Your tests prove that you did not acquire HIV from the encounter you describe.  The immunosuppressant effect of the  prednisone you took is mild does not keep your tests, including the test at 90 days from providing accurate results.  If you had acquired HIV, your test would be positive.

The skin rash you describe has acquired too long after the exposure to be related to HIV or any other STI.  There is no need for additional testing and no need for continuing testing.  Please don't worry.  EWH

There will be some specific questions but I am curious doctor, thank you in advance
1- Can the skin rash I experienced 5 months after intercourse be a symptom of HIV
2- Why do doctors in my country say periods like 6 months and 1 year
3- Does 10 days of prednisone use affect the test after it
4- Can prednisone use cause dry skin and skin rash
5- Does the antigen antibody test performed on the 90th day give a 100% result?

These are largely repetitive questions.  The answers are not going to change

1- Can the skin rash I experienced 5 months after intercourse be a symptom of HIV
No.

2- Why do doctors in my country say periods like 6 months and 1 year
There recommendations are overly conservative and out of date.

3- Does 10 days of prednisone use affect the test after it
I already said no.  repeating your question will not change my answer

4- Can prednisone use cause dry skin and skin rash
It would be unusual

5- Does the antigen antibody test performed on the 90th day give a 100% result?
Yes
