[Question #12607] Herpes from Body-to-Body Massage

Following up on my last question with additional details: I had a body-to-body massage in which the masseuse and I were both completely naked (no condom). She put oil on my body and rubbed the top half of her body all over my body, including my penis and penis head, probably for about 10 minutes. My penis head rubbed on her abdomen, chest, breasts, and nipples. I do not believe my penis came in contact with her vagina, but it contacted other parts of her body. Does this additional information change your assessment of my chances of acquiring HSV-2 from this? I tested negative 2 weeks after the encounter and I am currently at 4 weeks with no symptoms. I am worried about the mucus membranes on my penis/penis head being infected through contact with her body. I plan to get another IGG test at 6 weeks. Thank you.

It does not change my opinion that this experience did NOT present a risk for the acquisition of HSV 2, no.

Thanks again Terri. What about any other STIs that transmit via skin contact (rather than strict intercourse) — such as syphilis, HPV, etc. How much risk did I put myself in with this activity? What other STIs am I at risk for? What are my chances of acquiring these STIs? When should I test for these other STIs?

I really think this activity presents almost zero risk.  Things like crabs or scabies perhaps?  But you would like have skin symptoms with those conditions that would have been worrying for you.
