My previous questions were 12725, 12728, and 12732.  Again I am sorry for forgetting my passwords but I have fixed that now.  Could you please answer 12732 ?

You are asking repetitive, axiety-driven questions, all of which were answered following your initial question.  The answers should have been self-evident.  As Dr. Handsfield indicated, you need to get a grip on yourself and stop asking repetitive questions regarding what was a virtually no risk event.

In 12732 you asked- "The pain I described subsided overnight by about 75%.  There is still some discomfort but not much. I did take Tylenol which. Maybe helped.  Would being exposed to a condom after not wearing one for many years play a part, spermicide etc?  Is this pain indicative of a STI at all? I have no discharge or dysuria.  We are about 80 hours from the encounter.  What would you say my risks are?  I thought about taking a urine test today for gon, chla, and trich just to calm my anxiety."

This was answered in my initial reply when I told you that if the discomfort improved it was likely due to what you described as the "rough" nature on the encounter.  It improved, thus guess what the answer to your repetitive question is?  Suprise!, as I said before, your discomfort was most likely due to the rough nature of the encounter.  I anticipate that the testing you plan for today will show that you are not infected.

You have two follow-ups remaining.  Should you "forget" your pass words, you will receive NO FURTHER responses.  Even if you remember your passwords, you may not receive responses after your two remining follow-ups if the questions are repetitive.  EWH

Thank you Doctor.  The pain resumed today later in the day.  Im not meaning to be repetitive with this question because I had hoped it was all just about over with and out of my mind this morning when it felt better, but does pain in the urethra absent of discharge mean that this is not due to an STI?  How long would it take for discharge or dysuria to present itself?  Should I be concerned about resuming normal sexual relations?

Sigh.  Discharge due to STIs such as Gonorrhea or chlamydia typically begins 3-5 days following an encounter.  It does not come and go but would be expected to be unchanged or steadily worsen.  Given your overwhelming anxiety, it may be that you have been repeatedly examining yourself. If this is the case, this could certainly make the discomfort in your penis worse.

I’ve already told you that you were encounter was very, very low risk. If you are choosing to test, you should wait for your test results before resuming sexual activity with a regular partner. If you choose not to test, I would anticipate that it is safe to do so at this time

You have one follow up for remaining and that will be the end of these interactions. EWH.

Thanks again for your reply.  Since my post this morning about the symptoms subsiding, they are actually getting worse.  I am in a good amount of pain.  If my tests come back negative, what would you suggest?  Is herpetic urethritis a possibility?  I just cannot reconcile in my head nothing being wrong while being in pain like this.

If your pain worsens, I would encourage you to see a urologist.

There is no realistic chance this is herpetic urethritis.

This thread is now complete.  There should be no need to return.  EWH
