[Question #12755] Closure?

My NAAT results for chlamydia, gonahhrea, and trich came back negative last night. I took the tests a little over 80 hours post exposure. Can I rely on those results? We are now a full week later with no discharge or pain while urinating.
The pain I described in my earlier posts turned very mild over Sunday and Monday so I thought these results along with the pain subsiding would bring comfort and closure. However, the pain came back later in the night and it was so bad I could barely sleep and has continued on into the morning. The pain resides mainly at the base of my penis where the shaft and scrotum meet. Is it possible that I caught something such as HSV where the condom wasn’t covering? After 10 days post exposure if I do not see any lesions can I rule this out and just deal with the pain knowing it isn’t an STI? Would you recommend further testing?

Your test results are entirely reliable and should be believed. There is no need for further testing.
The rest of your questions and have been addressed in previous posts. There is no evidence of herpes urethritis or any other STI. You have been told that if the discomfort continues, you should see a urologist. You seem to be ignoring that advice.
This is your 5th post in the past 5 days. Your questions have become repetitive. We have nothing more to offer you on this forum. Do are entitled to 2 additional follow-ups. After that NO MORE questions will be accepted from you and new questions may be deleted without a reply and without return of your posting fee. This decision is being made for your own good- as I've already said, there is nothing more we can offer you. EWH

My main question is:
If I do not notice any further symptoms, lesions, discharge, etc, once the 10 day mark hits, can I be relatively certain I was not infected by this encounter, regardless of the pain that comes and goes throughout the day? The pain is separate from any infection and not a symptom of any STI? I will leave it at that and leave the thread open after your reply and only reply should anything materially change. Thank you.

Repetitive once again. Your negative tests prove that your discomfort is not due to an STI.
Your have one final follow up remaining. EWH

Today is the 10th day post encounter. I am not worried about the infections that were tested for via urine test. I have come to terms with the fact any discomfort I feel going forward is due to anxiety. My final question is, because I have not shown symptoms of a herpes infection 10 days post encounter, can I be certain that I was not infected with herpes, or any other STI? I know earlier I asked about herpetic urethritis, but I just mean normal herpes. How safe is it to resume normal sexual activities? Thank you for your comments and this service.

Final response
The risk of acquiring our base from the encounter you describe is minuscule, a small fraction of 1%. If you were going to develop signs of herpes, you would’ve done so by now.
I would not hesitate to resume normal, unprotected sexual activity with my regular partner
This completes this thread. You should not return. You have been warned. EWH.
