[Question #12756] Hiv from kissing

Doctors, I underwent a minor dental surgery to remove excess gum tissue. I received a small stitch. Four days later, I kissed a friend on the mouth for less than five seconds. I should note that I was no longer in pain, and there was no bleeding in my mouth (the stitch even fell out on its own two days later). Her mouth also seemed to be in healthy condition, and I did not taste any blood. I am married and so she is. Both of us have hralthy kids. Now I am feeling anxious about having relations with my wife. Please help me… Is there any risk of HIV in this situation? I repeat, I couldnt note traces from blood.

I'm sorry, but this is your twelfth forum question about non-exposure events that everybody knows carry no risk of HIV. At least twice you been told this is closing previous questions:  "The forum does not permit repeated questions on the same topic. Repeating part of that message, new questions from you of this type will be receive curt replies or none at all, without refund of the posting fee. This policy is based on compassion, not criticism, and is designed to reduce temptations to keep paying for questions with obvious answers. In addition, experience shows that continued answers tend to prolong users' anxieties rather than reducing them. Finally, such questions have little educational value for other users, one of the forum's main purposes. I trust you will understand."

Kissing never transmits HIV, regardless of oral health, dental surgery, etc; and you describe a kissing partner who almost certainly does not have HIV anyway. Do not be tested. Future questions like this and your previous ones will be deleted with no reply at all. Thank you for your understanding. Goodbye and best wishes.
