[Question #12761] Clarification re. #12729 and #12746

Hello Doctors
Relating to my exchange with Dr Handsfield (#12746), I must confess that I am now undergoing professional counselling for my anxiety.
I can assure you both that I will not be returning to the forum regarding these exposures now I am seeking support. I purely purchased another question to clarify something with you and also get your comments on something which has emerged recently before the thread is closed:
1. My counsellor has asked me to get clarification regarding Dr Handsfield’s wording of: “you are at little or no risk for either HBV or HCV”.
Does this mean NO risk from a medical standpoint?
2. In the last few days a small, smooth red (painless) rash no bigger than a 10p piece has appeared on the knuckle of my left index finger and in the webbing between my thumb. It only emerges once a day (some days not at all).
The rash disappears after an hour each time. I am wondering if this is a heat rash and not anything related to my exposures?
(I know Dr Hook said not to be worried about Syphilis, but wondered if it could be anything else?)
Thank you for your time and patience.

Because you claim you are asking on behalf of a therapist, I will provide a single response, then close the thread. Any further "clarifications" will not be answered.
1. In medicine and science there is no such thing as absolutely no risk. Strange things happen and new things are discovered every day. You have no meaningful medical risk.
2. Rashes related to STIs do not come and go. The rash you describe is not due to an STI
End of thread. EWH
