[Question #12806] Possible STD?

Hello Doctors,
Hope that you are well and appreciated your advice/counsel.
Over the weekend I engaged in a few sexual intercourse sessions. Sometimes the sex was vigorous, as I remember being sore. I want to add that the sessions were with female CSWs. Protection was always used and to my knowledge, the condoms were always intact. One woman might have kissed / briefly put her mouth on my penis but this was for 1-3 seconds at most.

Today, I noticed a single dark patch/spot on my glans, when I retract my foreskin (I am not circumcised). This is definitely new and was not there a few days ago or last week.
1)Could this be early stage syphillis or herpes? As of now, it is painless.
2) Could this be a burst blood vessel or some other legion?
3) What STD would start on this manner?
4) Could something like this be caused by vaginal fluid when I was removing the condom?

I also wanted to add that there is no discharge or fluid, the "dark spot" is essentially flat.

Welcome back to the Forum.  While I would like to congratulate you on your practice of safe, condom protected sex, I'm disappointed that you continue to worry so much about STIs.  The dark patch you describe does not suggest an STI.  Specific comments below:

1)Could this be early stage syphillis or herpes? As of now, it is painless.
The lesion you describe does not suggest herpes or syphilis.  Herpes cause small "water blisters" at the site of infection and a syphilis lesion would form an open sore.  I find myself wondering whether this might be related to the "vigorous" nature of encounters you described which left you sore.  If you are worried I would suggest that you seek evaluation by a dermatologist.  The vast majority of rashes and skin lesions occurring in the genital regions are not due to STIs.

2) Could this be a burst blood vessel or some other legion?
Possibly, something analogous to a bruise or related to the vigorous nature of your encounter.

3) What STD would start on this manner?
None

4) Could something like this be caused by vaginal fluid when I was removing the condom?
Most unlikely

I hope this information is helpful.  Please don't worry about this being an STI.  If I were you I would watch it for a few days.  If it improves, you can assume it is nothing serious and certainly not an STI.  On the other hand if it worsens, again, I suggest you see a dermatologist.  EWH

Thank you, Doctor. Appreciate the note and am trying to remain positive / calm.

The mark hasn't changed - it feels "flat", it's a gray-ish patch. It doesn't hurt when I touched it, no redness, no discharge, etc.
It hasn't changed since I first noticed it.
1) Would an STI or something similar have changed by now? Would it "coming out" be this dragged out? Do blisters, chancres or sores start out flat? Given that it hasn't changed, should I assume it's like a cosmetic / derm issue?
2) I have been feeling discomfort in the region however, ache groin area, ache in scrotum, some itching here and there. Do you think that these things could be related?
3) could the irritation from the condoms have lasted this long and potentially caused some sort of balanitis?

As I said before, I am confident that the spot you have noticed is not an STI.  That is the reason I suggested that if you wish to know what it is, see a dermatologist.  That recommendation has not changed.

1.  Most STIs would have changed in some way by now.
2.  No
3. If this were due to the condom it would have showed signs of improvement by now.

One follow-up remaining.  EWH
