[Question #12956] Escort encounter
|
Hi doctors,
I’m a white male, 50s. Received lengthy unprotected oral and had protected intercourse with a high end white escort, mid 30s. Two days later, I noticed a ‘pulling feeling’ when I urinate and did see that about half of my urethral opening is quite red/looks swollen.
No fever, aches or pains. I can’t say there’s pain or discomfort urinating, minus that ‘pulling’ feeling.
Wanted to get your thoughts and thanks in advance.

Welcome back o the forum. Thanks for your continued confidence in us.
Escorts -- upscale, expensive female sex workers by appointment -- are generally considered about the safest sex partners possible other than permanently monogamous ones. Most know the risks, use condoms consistently for vaginal or anal sex, get tested frequently, and their clients generally are low risk of having active STIs (men like you). The exposure itself sound entirely safe as well, with condom for vaginal and unprotected fellatio zero risk for some STIs (including HIV) and low risk for all. I suggest waiting a few days to see what happens with your meatus (urethral opening); my guess is you're just looking more closely than usual and likely nothing is wrong. Assuming these feelings clear up and no other symptoms, I would not advise testing for anything.
Let me know if anything changes or you have any other concerns.

Thanks so much, Dr. Handsfield. The service you provide is extraordinarily helpful.
I just went to an urgent care - doctor said it looks more like an abrasion/irritation, probably from prolonged/vigorous oral.
I’ll end the thread and thanks for putting my mind at ease!
