Hi Dr,

Just wanted to follow up with the question since I have my test reports . I got tested at Day 9 and Day 11. My Hiv1 and Hiv 2 RNA PCR tests with target limit of 10 copies per ml were both negative ie. target not detected. The urine samples for chlymydia and Gonorrhea were negative as well which were done on Day 9.

Now being day 15 I believe I have no herpes lei-son symptoms or syphyllis sore that I can see .

Do you recommend any other testing or should I feel free to move on?

Welcome back to the Forum although I'm sorry you felt the need. Today I will be answering your questions. In preparing to respond, I reviewed your recent interaction with Dr. Handsfield and agree with all that he said. There was close to no risk from the encounter you described. Now your testing has proven that you were not infected. I would have no further concerns and move forward. I see no need for further testing. EWH---
