[Question #13018] Unprotected oral

Hello doctors thank you for all you do. I couldn’t find my old log in so I had to make a new account. I received unprotected oral from an unknown male on 3/31. 3 weeks later I went on vacation and was in and out of the ocean and pool wearing compression underwear. When I returned home I noticed what looked like a white head on my penis head close to the hole. I couldn’t see it bc it was on the bottom part of the head. It was reddish bump with a white center. When I took a hot shower with steam the bump looked exactly like a white head. It had more white and looked like it was ready to pop. Stupidity came over and I squeezed it and a white almost sac came out.. over the next few days every time I showered it would look like a white head. This was around 25 days post exposure that I saw this. Freaking out I took doxy 100mg twice a day for 5 days with what I had in my medicine cabinet. There was no chnage to the bump and I didn’t experience any JH die off like I have read. Since then the spot is now flat and has a little pink tone to it so I can still see it. I did squeeze it multiple times times while in shower getting the white out. Should I be concerned

Welcome back. Your previous question 8 months ago was no. 11854. As for this question, it concerned an oral sex event, as well as symptoms that probably were coincidental or psychological and not due to any STI from the event. That also is my best judgment this time.
Your description this time doesn't fit well with any STI and almost certainly is not from the oral sex event several weeks previously. It also has nothing to do with ocean swimming or use of compression underwear. No infection is likely; my best guess is perhaps a sebaceous cyst. I would have advised against doxycycline, and as expected it sounds like it made no difference. We make no attempt to diagnose anything and certainly not when the problem almost certainly isn't an STI. We're not a resource for evaluation or advice about non-STI problems. All I can suggest is seeing a doctor in person. Good luck with it.

Thank you sir for your fast response. I think just my main concern was making sure that this one wasn’t an STI from my exposure that happened back in March and from the sound of it I can confidently say that I can leave this alone and let this be. Thank you so much to you and the doctors for all the help that you do
