Once you have HSV 1 in one location, it is extremely unlikely that you would then acquire it in a new location on your body. You don't say where your HSV 1 infection is, if you even know where it is, but assuming for the moment that it is oral, acquiring it now genitally would be very unlikely indeed. In 43 years of practice, I've seen this one time, and even that time, I'm not certain about the patient stated history of cold sores when she was diagnosed with genital HSV 1.

Hi ,
Thanks for responding , even I don’t know where I have but I guess it’s oral . I will take valacyclovir daily but she won’t . Do i Need to worry now about aquiring it to genitals?

Since I have seen it one time in 43 years, perhaps, I can't say never need to worry about acquiring it genitally (if you don't already have it there) but the odds are astronomically low of that happening.
