[Question #13072] STDs/HIV outside of the body

Hello Doctors.. I am a male and I am confused.  I have read on this website and other places that STDs and HIV cannot infect outside of the human body.  But if a man has a HPV, herpes, or syphilis sore on his penis, while the sore is on his body, isnt it outside his body? Can you please explain to me.

I recently bought a female sex doll on Amazon with a TPE vagina and anus. I bought it on May 9th and it was delivered to me on May 11th and I used it that day, May 11th. I dont remember if I cleaned it before use.  I have used it many times never wearing a condom.  The doll was advertised as new on Amazon but it was cheaper than similar dolls on other sites so I am concerned this seller buys used dolls and then sells them as new. However Amazon says it does not take returns on such products.  Should I be concerned about any STDs at all here or HIV from the TPE vagina or anus? I ordered the doll and it came to me 2 days later in a box and the doll itself was wrapped in plastic.

This is a repetitive, anxiety driven question which will receive a single response and then be closed .  Any further questions on this topic will be closed without a response and without return of your posting fee.  You have already told that STIs, including HIV are NEVER transmitted through contact with inanimate objects. This is an entirely different scenario from DIRECT SKIN-TO-SKIN contact with an STI lesion such as herpes, syphilis or HPV.  These answers are not going to change.

There is no risk here.  You need to stop worrying.  The thread will now be closed. EWH
