[Question #13109] Handjob and other questions

|
Alright I’ll preface with the fact that I know I’m gonna sound insane. But is there any risk to receiving and giving handjob. I gave a handjob no cum no cuts on my fingers. And received a handjob but had a condom on the entire time. He did touch his penis one to stroke it a little then went back to rubbing me. Am I at any risk here? Second question what is the std rate for protected vaginal sex. Condom had no holes and was one the entire time.

I was scrolling through Reddit as one does and people had said transference of and Sti/std is possible. But all the resources on here say it’s basically not a possibility when mutual masturbation happens. I’m assuming I got nothing on my penis because I wore a condom but I did stroke him without one.

Also say I hit my vape with the hand I used to momentarily stroke him. Would this increase any risk having something close to my mouth? I didn’t wash my hand after but he didn’t cum at all. Sorry for all the questions

Welcome to the Forum. No one has ever gotten an STI from participating in (giving and/or receiving) masturbation. You are not going to be the first. All of the activities you describe were no risk for HIV and other STIs. NO RISK!! Reddit is not a reliable source of information and will mislead you, like many other sources of so-called information on the internet.
On average, the risk of getting an STI from condom protected vaginal sex with another average person and as long as the condom is worn throughout the encounter and does not break (condoms break about 1% of the time they are used) is less than 1 in thousands.
There is nothing in your questions that raises any concern for STIs and nothing suggests any medical or scientific reason for testing. I hope this information is helpful. EWH

So I’ve been seeing this girl she has only had 2 previous partners. We decided to take it further and have sex however she informed me she was allergic to latex. The chances A not super sexually active woman In her 20s having hiv is close to zero right? And the transmission rate for unprotected vaginal is super low? Can I take a rapid hivtest at 6 weeks and will it be accurate. (The finger prick kind) I know it’s a 4th gen. Although do you see any point in testing?? I think in my head hiv is a lot more rampant than it actually is.

There are highly reliable non-latex condoms made of polypropylene or polyisoprene. Further, a great way to mov forward with confidence is to suggest that you both go and get checked for STIs together. That would establish trust and confidence. If you choose this path, the important tests to have are gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas, HIV and perhaps syphilis.
At baseline, even without testing, there is little chance that she has HIV. HIV is almost certainly less common than you think. Far less than1% of women who are not drug users have HIV. In the unlikely situation that she has untreated HIV, the risk of infection from a single unprotected genital encounter is less than 1 in 2000.
4th generation, combination HIV antigen/antibody tests are entirely conclusive at 6 weeks while antibody only test are not conclusive after 6 weeks. Some but not all rapid tests test only for antibodies.
One follow-up remaining. EWH

Yah she most likely doesn’t have hiv. She’s only had 2 sexual partners and people all over the world have unprotected sex all the time and most people aren’t infected. Would you from a scientific standpoint think I need a test? Sorry for all the questions? I overthink everything
