[Question #13144] Hiv test

|
1.5 years ago I had oral sex with a prostitute with a condom for a short time. I had vaginal sex with another woman in the same house with the same condom. That was also short. The condom was intact at the end of the sex. There was no tearing or breaking. I did not experience any symptoms after the incident. Only a pimple appeared on my penis 1 week after the incident. It disappeared after 3-4 weeks. I have been very stressed since that day. I am married. I am afraid of infecting my wife with something. Is there a risk of HIV? Is there a need for a test not as a psychological relief but as a medical test due to the relationships I have had?

Welcome back to the Forum although I’m sorry you feel the need. This question was answered on your previous visit to the Forum when I informed you that there was virtually no risk of HIV from the exposures you described. The answer has not changed. There was no medical or scientific reason for testing related to either of the exposures you have described. The only reason for testing would be the reassurance that the negative result you would get.
Your wife is not at risk. Please don’t worry. EWH
