[Question #13224] Any more tests?

Hello, doctors!
Dr Hook really helped me last time! I took his advice and made a urologist appointment. Problem is they are all completely booked for a couple months. I’ve been paying attention to my sperm after masturbating and it definitely seems less thick but still has some jelly like thickness to it. Could be normal and I’m just hyper focused on it. Testicles pain comes and goes through the day to both. Still no pain during urination or discharge but I have noticed that it seems I have very small white specks in my pee.
Since I couldn’t get an appointment I decided to get one full panel STD test just to make sure and put STD’s out of thought. It’s scheduled for 36 days post blow job exposure, and 57 days since vaginal.
Based on what I’ve read on this forum my results will be
Gon/chlam: 100% accurate due to time
HIV: 99.9% from my negative result after 45 days post vaginal and for “all practical purposes” there has never been a case of mouth to penis transfer and will be past 28 days test.
Syphilis: not 100% until 42 days but no sores plus negative result is a good sign
Trich/Mgen: I have never seen a timeline for this but you say the tests are NAAT and will detect them
Are there any other STDs I should test for with my symptoms? I’ve seen Dr. HHH asked about white blood cell test and I don’t think my tests have this. Should I ask my PCP to order one? What does that test for? I just want to be safe for myself and future partners since my appointment is so far out. My test is Tuesday and I will post my results in my next reply. Thanks!

Welcome back. I'm glad to hear your just-completed discussion with Dr. Hook was helpful. I have read it and agree with his evaluation and advice. I'm happy to address this one, but all evidence is that despite your statement in your last response "Anxiety no more!", that's the only thing going on here.
---
Changes in the consistency of semen (think, thin, etc) and minor changes in color are never STI symptoms and mean nothing in terms of sexual health. Although I understand your desire to sort this out more clearly, in all honest I see no need either to stop having sex or to see a urologist. All your statements predicting your test results are accurate; there is no reason to be even remotely concerned about any of the STIs you have mentioned. Having been sexually active, of course it wasn't unreasonable to be tested. But even if something had turned up positive, it would not explain the altered appearance of your semen.
"Are there any other STDs I should test for with my symptoms?" This duplicates the main point of Dr. Hook's advice. No, there are not.
You have misunderstood something I wrote in some other thread. I do not recall ever advising anyone on this or our previous forum to have a WBC test, which is entirely useless in evaluating any STD diagnosis. (It can be helpful in determining severity of some conditions, such as PID in women, but that's not the same thing.)
There is no point or need in posting your upcoming negative test results on our forum. We would only symbolically nod in agreement with them. Of course let us know if anything is positive, but be assured it will not explain the changes in your semen.
I hope these comments are helpful. My main advice is to just forget this entirely and give it time, expecting that your semen appearance soon will be the same as usual.

Thank you Dr. HHH!
Yes, I agree I have some anxiety. I do fear of anything getting worse incase it’s something easy I missed. I don’t want you two thinking I’m taking your advice and throwing it away. It really does help! I just worry about if it does last and I can’t get an answer for two months since my appointment is so far!
I’m also sorry i misunderstood your advice for another thread. That’s on me for assuming all advice is universal when everyone is different!
I’ll take my predicted negative results and put STDs to rest. Thank you

You don't have anything wrong that can get worse.
I'm glad to see you now understand exactly what we often say to forum users: you cannot necessarily assume our responses to previous questions apply to your own situation, even if they seem similar. Often there are important circumstances relevant to one but not the other.

Well Dr,
Nods in symbolic agreement*
You were right!
Although, I have a question about the results of one test. My Hep B surface antigen/Core AB are non reactive. However my Hep B Surface AB QN was alerted as “low.” Said I am <5mIU/mL when it’s suppose to be >orEqual to 10. What does this mean?
Outside of this, I’m putting STD’s to bed! Thank you for your patience with me. I’m keeping my appointment incase my testicle pain continues but will cancel accordingly.
Have a good summer Dr. HHH and Dr. Hook!

Your HBsAb test shows you have been vaccinated against HBV but the antibody level has declined with time. There is controversy about whether people with such test results still are protected. Probably they are but because of the uncertainty, most experts advise revaccination. Discuss it with your doctor.
I'm glad you're happy with the rest of the discussion. Thanks for the thanks. Best wishes and stay safe.
