If there is just deep kissing and kissing of the breast. Is STI testing needed? As online read possibility of sypillis. Had a hsv swab which was negative as had a rash but was told just due to friction from the person's beard. If I tested negative 5 weeks after the test do I need to re test. I think it may be more anxiety.

Welcome to the Forum.  Thanks for your questions and your implied confidence in our service.  I'll be glad to comment.  Like so much of what is said on the internet, you may have been misled.  Was it your breast that was kissed or were you kissing a partner's breast.  In either situation, there is no risk of HIV or other STIs from this practice unless you were kissing an open lesion. The same is true regarding deep kissing.  Neither activity is something to worry about.  Negative tests at 5 weeks are close to conclusive but not entirely so.  Testing for both syphilis and HIV are conclusive when performed more than 6 weeks after a possible exposure.

In my opinion, despite the theoretical possibility that you may have been expose/infected, given the close to no risk nature of the activities you describe, I do not feel strongly that you need further testing unless it will help to address persisting anxiety.  If you do test, I am confident that your tests will be negative.  I hope this perspective is helpful.  EWH

Thank you for answering my question. 6 weeks is enough time to be conclusive. I do know there is no risk but 6 weeks is enough I dont not need to re test at 3 months.

Correct.  There is no need to test after 6 weeks has passed.

There are very rare reports of acquisition of oral Gonorrhea from deep kissing primarily among men with other men as kissing partners.  This is very rare.  I have never seen a case.  I would not worry.

This is my 3rd and, as per Forum guidelines my final response.  The thread will now be closed.  There should be no need for further questions.  EWH
