Welcome back to the forum.

An exposed cut is one of those supposed HIV/STI risks commonly mentioned in the media, but it's entirely theoretical:  to my knowledge there has never been a case of HIV or other infection that occurred because of exposure to a cut of any sort. I don't see this as having any risk at all. And anyway you used a condom, which is far more important. In addition, the large majority of sexually active persons do not have HIV or other STIs. I don't consider this risky at all and do not advise testing for anything.

The only concern I have is that many or most "cuts" on the penis actually have other causes, especially herpes. And zipper injuries are classical nonsense:  how does anyone ever actually catch their penis in the zipper of their trousers? Do you recall an actual injury with the zipper? Have "cuts" like this occurred previously? If the answers to these questions are no and yes respectively, you might consider evaluation for genital herpes. But in any case, I still see no increased risk from the sexual exposure you have described.

I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Thanks for the clarification -- and glad to learn there's no reason to worry about herpes! Thanks for the thanks.---
