[Question #13264] Clarity for Question 13262 - HHH

Hi again dr HHH.
Don’t consider my question as repetitive, as I just forgot to ask it in my last follow up.
In your initial answer to my opening questions, you stated that ‘’ The current HIV tests are extremely robust; virtually nothing is know to affect their accuracy. While I have no specific knowledge about keratoconus, there are no known medical problems of any kind that have any effect on the timing or reliability of any of the HIV tests currently in use, including the antigen-antibody (AgAb, COMBO) test. ...’’
My HIV COMBO (the test who tests for HIV 1 and HIV 2 antibodies and HIV 1 antigen p24) tests were done in December 2022 (9 months after exposure)
And the same one in April 2023 (1 year after exposure)
so my question is :even if these tests were done in December 2022 and April 2023, are they considered ‘’current and currently in use’’ ? A simple yes or no will do.
Thanks

Yes these are the current tests in use. (Probably you could easily have determined that with the same question to any number of cost free online resources, like google or ChatGPT.)
Repeated questions on the same topic are not permitted and excessive ones are subject to being deleted without reply and without refund of the testing fee. This must be your last about these issues.
