[Question #13272] Cunnilingus Escort

Hi there,

3 months ago, I gave cunnilingus to an escort for about 1 minute. I then gave cunnilingus to my partner about a week later.

What is the risk that I have infected my partner with this situation?

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. Thank you for your confidence in our services.

I almost stopped reading after seeing the title. Cunnilingus is exceedingly low risk for any and all STIs.

Now having read further, I would advise that escorts (meaning expensive female sex workers by appointment are at little risk for active STIs (compared with brothel workers, street walkers, and bar pickups). Most care about their health, use condoms for vaginal or anal sex), get tested frequently, and have low risk customers -- men like you. But even if infected, getting an oral STI after cunnilingus is very rare, and the chance of HIV is zero (there has never been a case of HIV known to be acquired by cunnilingus). If somehow I were in your situation, I would continue unprotected sex with my wife -- including cunnilingus with her -- with no worries at all about being infected myself or infecting my wife.

I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Thanks very much for your prompt answer. It is very helpful.
As a follow-up, what would you say the percentage chances are that I have infected my partner with gonorrhea? Secondly, does oral gonorrhea typically clear on its own without medication?

Thanks a lot!

"what would you say the percentage chances are that I have infected my partner with gonorrhea?" Zero. First, the chance a typical female escort has gonorrhea is very low. Second, when vaginal gonorrhea is present, the chance of catching it by performing cunninlingus is probably under one chance in a thousand. Third, when present in the mouth or throat, gonorrhea has never been known to be the source of a female's infection by cunnilingus.

Gonorrhea of any anatomic site almost always is cleared by the immune system over time. For oral gonorrhea, it usually happens within a few weeks.

Thank you for your answers they are very helpful. Last one from me sorry -

My partner and I have just gotten engaged. Therefore, I am very paranoid I may have infected her and she will find out. Do you think this is purely a fanciful situation and my anxiety is completely taking over?

Thank you

That your relationship status has changed to a higher level of commitment obviously makes no difference in the chance you were infected during the cunnilingus event on your mind or the zero risk to your partner/fiancee. I have no additional advice.

That concludes this thread. Please do not start another one about these events. There is no information you can provide that would change the advice you have had. Best wishes for a successful engagement and marriage.
