[Question #13283] Wart or skin tag

Hi Dr I have been receiving massages that normally end with a hand job, occasionally the masseur will give oral Normally gets about 30 seconds tops. Before I push away.
I normally have ripped frenulum.
But I just noticed single raised skin on my frenulum. Not sure if its skin tag or wart. Are warts common on frenulum. Im in a long term relationship. It's skin color.

Welcome back to the forum. However, I can't help very much.
We can't diagnose anything. Your description doesn't sound typical for any STI and in any case we can't diagnose anything simply from a written description (and we do not accept or look at clinical photos). From the exposures described, you are at little or no risk for genital warts. I wonder if you're just looking too closely and noticing minor variations in your skin; or maybe minor irritation has led to temporary skin swelling in the area. Genital warts probably are neither more nor less common on the frenulum than anywhere else on the penis. Finally, you say nothing about timing: How long after the last sexual exposure did this thing show up? Warts cannot appear sooner than 6-8 weeks after exposure; and in any case HPV is never transmitted by hand-genital contact and rarely by oral exposure.
All I can suggest is to see a doctor if the problem continues or you remain concerned.
I hope these comments are a little bit helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Thank you for the fast response.
I have been receiving such massages for the last two years. I get them about every two months. About 6 months ago the massuer was lingering her self and mistreating me. Which is my concern I know you said that maturation is not a means of transmission. Even in this scenario?
About seeing a dr my issue is getting miss diagnosed.
But I agree with you that I will see a dr

There appear to be some typos here. I assume you mean fingering, not "lingering", and maybe "maturation" should be masturbation? I have no idea what you mean by "mistreating me". A massage partner fingering herself does not change the risks.

I'll be happy to comment one more time after you have been examined by a doctor. (It's nonsense to delay care for fear of misdiagnosis. If you aren't examined, you have no diagnosis at all.)

Hi Dr
I went to my Dr to see if he believed this was GW and if so, so that I can get it treated.
My dr basically said that he didn't believe it to be gw as it dosent look like what warts would generally look like.
He said he found it very unusual that the skin tag / wart grows significantly in size when aroused.
He also noted that it looked like clear fluid with red dots inside while looking at it under magnifying glass. However when flacid its almost un noticeable
I guess my question to you is
Does this sound like a wart from your experience do warts grow like that when aroused I would imagine that they would be more noticeable but to grow?
Also i know that hand jobs, oral receiving, and frottage are low risk for gw but in practice have you or Dr hook ever seen this.
Gw from oral, frottage or hand jobs?
Thank you and sorry for the typos earlier post.

Your doctor's judgement based on direct exam is far more accurate than anything I can say. It certainly doesn't sound like a wart to me. I have never seen a patient with GWs whose only possible exposure was oral sex, hand-genital contact, or frottage. I can't speak for Dr. Hook, but I'm pretty sure his experience has been the same.

That completes the two follow-up comments and replies included with each question and so ends this thread. I hope the discussion has been helpful. Best wishes and stay safe.
