[Question #13344] Possible Herpes?

Hi Doctors!
I am located in the United States. I saw a csw on June 6th, protected intercourse and she performed unprotected oral on me for approx 5 min. On June 11th, I saw a different csw, protected intercourse only for approximately 2-3 minutes. The next day June 12th, I started feeling tingling/ burning sensations on my penis and groin area. For the next couple days the burning/ tingling sensations would come and go but I was also getting some mild tingling burning sensations in my upper thighs and buttocks. I inspected my penis and groin area often and never saw any lesions of any kind or redness.
I don't believe I have ever had oral herpes appear in the past. Approximately 4 weeks after these encounters I completed blood test for hep c, HIV, syphilis and also urine test for chlamydia and gonorrhea which all tests came back negative. The only thing I'm concerned about is if this was herpes and I just didn't get the symptoms of the lesions? Thank you for your time

I forgot to add that those symptoms stopped on the 16th.

Without typical symptoms of lesions in the genital area, I think HSV is unlikely here, but if you want to know if you have herpes, you could do an IgG test at labCorp at 10-12 weeks out from the encounter. I would definitely advise against doing it anywhere else at this time as LabCorp has the best IgG test now and has the most labs available around the country.

Thanks for the reply. Would you be able to estimate a percentage or the chance that I contracted herpes from these symptoms?
