Apologies if you will find my question as the annoying repetitive one. I am not sure if original thread will be available for to review but the thread ended up as conclusion below:

As in this instance my concern was related to HIV infection can you clarify if the last sentence was referring to syphilis or HIV by any chance.  

I hope I will be able to test this upcoming  week.

It was a typo; as you suspected, he meant HIV. It has been changed now correctly states HIV. Dr. Hook apologizes for the error and sorry if it alarmed you.
