I am not sure if you are able to look on my previous question. I had received unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex finished with unprotected masturbation back in mid July. Two times from two diffrent womens. Last week after 8 weeks from exposure I did 4th generation hiv1/2 test and rapid igg/igm syphilis test. Both in laboratory and blood drown fromvein. Both tests come back negative. As i said I was in Angola and I was taking doxycycline 100mg daily. I would ask if my test will you consider conclusive ? And how antibiotic may affect syphilis test? Should I do it again? Is there real chance that syphils test was false negative due to antibiotic. I stopped taking antibiotic about 10 days before syphilis test.

It’s time for you to move forward.  As I’ve already told you, your risk for syphilis and HIV was close to zero and your test results prove that you were not infected.  The doxycycline you took does not change this assessment.  There is no need for continued concern and no need for further testing.   EWH---
