[Question #13500] Cunnilingus with CSW

Hello,

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Two days ago during an appointment with CSW at a massage parlor, I received a hand job but during that I performed cunnilingus on her. The cunnilingus lasted only 15-30 seconds and was very brief. I know I made a mistake. My concern would be hsv2 oral. I already have hsv1 from when I was a kid.

I know it’s only been two days so I wouldn’t have symptoms. However I’m a little worried I have exposed myself.

I know I have read cunnilingus is safe and hsv2 orally is rare. Should I be concerned with possible Hsv2 from this encounter or am I overacting?

You are correct, HSV 2 orally is very rare indeed. and the likelihood of acquiring HSV 2 after giving oral sex for 15-30 seconds by itself is so remote. In addition, your already have HSV 1 orally, so that MAY offer you some protection against getting HSV 2 orally. If you think that you are going to test for HSV 2 at some point in the future, please use LabCorp as they have the far better test. But honestly, I don't think you need any testing. If you develop a sore on your lip, have it swab tested. Otherwise, try not to worry and move on.
