[Question #13538] HSV exposure

Dr, fbsm spat on my penis quite a few times( around 8 times) while performing hand job no condom and It went on for good 20-25 mins .She did prostate with another hand with gloves on and inserted her hand inside for a few times. Both different hands – no glovers were used for Handjob with spit and saliva . She kissed my thighs and chest on the nipples .Apart from this 2 things nothing was performed (no oral or anything sort of). Since last 3 days I have been having a burning sensation in my legs and groin and scrotum and buttocks. It started from knee area and last 2 days it’s been intense burning sensation. I saw 2 red bumps on my scrotum not itchy or painful and I have seen that before as well. What are chances of Herpes here? Consider her being a CSW worker. The burning sensation feels icy hot from groin to thighs to buttocks and all over legs and in the morning it goes away for a little bit.

My concern here is ? What STDs I am at risk. If I received Saliva/ /Spit on my penis which she did spit around 8 times and gave me a handjob. She also used other hand with gloves on to give me a prostate massage. Apart from that no oral or any other type of sex was performed. Any STDs? HSV1 or HSV2?

I don't think there is any real risk here from the saliva - generally not enough herpes virus in the saliva to infect you and the symptoms you are having are NOT consistent with a new herpes infection. You should be observing for water blisters that are tender and break open to form ulcers if you are looking for real herpes symptoms. I'm not clear that anything you did would cause those symptoms, quite honestly.

I am experiencing burning in groin and scrotum , buttocks, thighs no i sometimes goes below the knees. ( no itch or sores) It is been more than 3 days with starter from both the knees and now all over. Is there any similar cases prior that people have experienced? I am very nervous and I only keep thinking about std. can this be a guilt trip, anxiety, and stress?

Without any lesions to swab, it just isn't possible to do more of a diagnosis. I hear that you are very concerned about the sensations you are having in your groin area but with no lesions anywhere in that area, I can't suggest another way to know what is going on here. Certainly this could be guilt and anxiety. Do you have a regular sex partner that you are concerned about here?

I still think acquiring HSV from saliva in your situation would be unlikely.

Have you ever in your life had a cold sore on your lip or in your nose? If yes, then you already have HSV 1, which is what would happen with saliva, if anything at all would happen.

I am very much concerned about my regular partner. Since this encounter i have not done any sexual activity with her. I have never had cold sores in my life and after 3 days of the encounter I did full panel std test which was all negative of HSV 1 and HSV 2 igg - just to understand my previous history. The burning sensation is unreal and it is all over thighs and groin and scrotum. Hopefully it’s nothing but the guilt trip. I am going to keep doing the test on intervals. well, if you want to test down the line again, I would NOT suggest antivirals as they can produce a false positive on the test if indeed somehow you did get infected with HSV, which I don't think you did.
