[Question #13567] Is it still valid and I can I forget it and move on?

I went to a high end massage parlor in Vietnam and the female masseuse licked all over my body including my anus which I don’t believe her tongue went inside and she finished with hand job. That was it.
I’ve looked at your previous answers and I pretty much saw it’s not a risk of HIV as not a single proven case recorded. Is this statement still valid and can I leave it behind and move on?

Welcome back to the forum. Thanks for your continued confidence in our services, and for reviewing other discussions potentially related to your current risks.
Your previous question concerned a sexual event that included condom-protected vaginal and oral sex, which had little or no risk. The exposure you describe now is even lower risk than that one. Mouth or saliva contact carries little or no risk for HIV or any other STI, including actual oral sex -- and certainly zero risk for contact with non-genital body areas. Hand-genital contact also is risk free. You have correctly interpreted our response in other thread as well. It remains true that there have been no known cases of HIV transmitted by such contacts. The same is basically true for other STIs, although one can envision a theoretical risks of herpes due to HSV type 1. Nobody can say the risk is truly zero, but it's low enough that it can be ignored.
Indeed you "can leave [this event] behind and move on" with no further worries, no testing, and with safe continued sex with your regular partner if you have one.
I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.
