[Question #13617] Needing clarification

On my previous post, I had asked about if you think I can put the worry about accidentally touching my outer labia behind me. I was concerned that I might have had herpetic whitlow on my hand. You answered no. Did you possibly misread my question or do I need to be worried? If I should be worried, what next steps would you advise? Thank you!

Sorry, I meant no, you don't need to worry about that.

I figured that’s what you meant, thank you!
Since in purchased another round of questions, I would just like to ask:
If by some chance this was herpetic whitlow, do you think there would be a big risk of getting this genitally? The spot was drying out and it wasn’t prolonged, just accidentally touching while wiping after urinating.

No, I don't think there is a risk even if you touched it, to transfer enough virus from your hand to your genitals to infect yourself genitally

I do just want to clarify, that the thumb directly touched my labia, so the lesion might have too. You might already understand that, but I just want to make sure.
Is it not a risk because of the brief touch and the lesion already starting to heal?

Yes, all of those reasons AND I don't think at all that you have whitlow.
