Hello,
I had an encounter about 7 weeks ago. Very Frequent protected sex with a lady I know and I still have contact with her. I had Protected vaginal and protected oral. in all times the condom was well in tact and never damaged. I am also aware of all handlings I do as I know a lot about sti/stds
After 6-7 days of the encounter I got a pimple on the middle of the shaft ( under - side ). It was painful the first 2 days to touch and there was kind of pimple head on it after a day. It healed completely after 5 days.
I took pictures everyday and I showed them to the GP afterwards and he said it was 100% a pimple. and nothing to worry about.
After that never got anything else.
At the same side of the vagina lip I remember I saw a lighter colour skin but it was not an ulcer, 100% not an ulcer. it was kind of pigment to my knowledge.
I got worried now and sent the pictures I made that time again to the GP and he even laughed about it and said it was just a pimple caused by rubbing frequently or maybe by latex.. I tried to upload the picture here but I couldn't.
Do you think I should not think about it and just go ahead?
Thanks in advance.

I just add that the lady is based on a country where they have to test for syphilis and HIV to get the permit of 2 years. She had that back in July and after that had only one encounter before me and it was protected.

Note: the lighter skin colour I saw was on the outside vagina lip. It wasn’t an ulcer and had absolutely no higher borders or red at all. I’m aware how an ulcer looks like

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for your questions. I’ll be glad to comment.
Sorry but we don’t accept pictures on the forum. They tend to be of little use and are often misleading.
---If the pimple appeared to be single, pus filled and went away after a few days without forming shallow ulcers it is likely that this was folliculitis which is what I suspect your doctor thought. There is also a slight possibility that this was herpes which, if it was, could recur in about the same location in the future. It is unlikely that this was any other STI. EWH

The first day it was red bubble and painful to touch.
Second day I saw white head which quickly cleared as it went open. From then it only became better everyday and the pain went away in 2-3 days .
It came up 6-7 days after encounter and was cleared in 5 days ..
I don’t think it was genital herpes .. I was more scared for syphilis. But syphilis would form an ulcer and it would last much longer and also would come up later than 7 days .. I hope I’m not wrong

So it was exactly like u wrote
the pimple appeared to be single, pus filled and went away after a few days without forming shallow ulcers.
My go was very sure it was very sure it was folliculitis.. “ pimple “ when looked to the pictures

This does not sound like syphilis for all of the reasons you mention. What you describe also does not sound like herpes. It sounds like your doctor and I agree that was most probably folliculitis which is not an STI.
At this time I suggest that you move forward without concern. If it recurs, please return and let us know. Otherwise I doubt I’ll have anything to add. Take care. EWH
