[Question #13631] Am I at Risk ?

Please forgive me if my question sounds silly, I hope this one is easy. I have found your groups' expertise immensely helpful and valuable. I'm hoping you could shed some incites on a potential incident that happened about a week ago?

Basically, I met a male from a dating app at a hotel, who said he was clean of sti's. So, we each got into our own bed (which were about 2-3 feet apart) and we watched each other masturbate to completion. I was fully clothed in my bed and he was nude in his. And also want to point out - we never touched each other at all throughout this encounter as I was reluctant to be touched. I also never touched any of his fluids to the best of knowledge. I hope this means I'm ok?

Was this actually a potential risk for HIV or sti's in this scenario, even though there was no touching, no penetration? I have also started working with a therapist on my anxiety around hookups and working to stop these behaviors and hope not to be judged. Thanks again.

Your previous question was still open for additional comments; you did not need to pay for this question -- this could have been asked as the final comment in #13554 (at no cost). However, that question now will be closed. In addition, you are asking us to repeat pretty much the same information in that question and your previous one before that, which also was only a month ago. What about those replies did you not understand?

The key phrase in this question is "we never touched each other". That means there was zero risk of HIV or any other STI.

HIV and other STIs are not transmitted sexually unless there is penetration of one person's penis into another person's vagina, rectum or (rarely)y mouth. All other body to body contact, including kissing, body rubbing, hand-genital contact, or fingering are free of risk.

You do not need HIV or STI testing on account of any of the events described in your three forum questions. Further, repeated anxiety driven questions are strongly discouraged. This must be your last questions about these kinds of exposures. Be aware that excessive anxiety driven questions may be deleted without reply and without refund of the posting fee. Thank you for your understanding.
