Hi Sir,
Sorry for coming back to this platform again and again because of my habits. Recently I had 3 different exposures in the last month. The details are as follows.
1.exposure 1: 11th november. With 1 escort I had 2 times protected vaginal exposure and 2 times protected oral (receipt)
2. Exposure 2: 17th November. With another escort 2 times protected vaginal exposure and 1 unprotected oral (receipt)
3. Exposure 3: 24th Novemeber. With another escort protected vaginal exposure 2 times and 2 times protected oral exposure (receipt)
Now I am really worried about the symptoms. Around 10th december that is almost 17th day from the last exposure, i have sore throat for 3 days not severe though. Then around 20th december i.e. 26 days from the last of the exposures I woke up with a bad headache and during the day i have some mild stomach pain nausea and vomitting. Since then last 3-4 days i am facing similar indigestion nausea and vomitting intermittently. So I am really worried now. Before thses exposures i tested negative for all the STIs.
Please help me in assessing the risk and whether should I be worried about HIV based on the symptoms. Do you recommend testing for STIs. I consulted my gastro doctor friend and he gave some medicines today for a week but I am really worried about HIV now.
Regards,

Welcome back to the Forum. These are repetitive questions for you which I've answered several times. You are not at meaningful risk for HIV. Most commercial sex workers do not have HIV and most single unprotected exposures do not result in infection. In your case, condoms were used making is still less likely that your symptoms are due to HIV. The statistical risk of HIV from any of the exposures you describe is less than 0.01% (i.e. less than 1 in 10,000). Your symptoms do not particularly suggest HIV- while sore throat is sometimes a sign of recently acquired HIV, when this is the case the sore throat is accompanied by HIGH fever, and severe muscle and joint aches. Diarrhea but not nausea/vomiting can occasionally accompany the symptoms I've mentioned.
I see no meaningful risk for HIV here however testing is always a personal choice. As I've also told you in the past, if any of the symptoms you describe were due to HIV a standard 4th generation, combination HIV antibody/antigen test would be positive. I really would not be worried. EWH
