[Question #13768] Advise needed regarding HIV

Dear Experts
I hope that you can help.
I note that Doctor HH has recently answered another user’s question (#13767) stating that an adult will never be at risk of HIV UNTIL there is A) unprotected sexual intercourse, B) drug use with needles, or C) huge exposure to another’s blood.
In light of this, I think my question is already answered. However, I hope that you can still give me reassurance personally in black and white so that I can move on with family life.
Whilst my wife and kids were out of town I hooked up with a girl at a bar. We did not have sex and I did not give or receive oral.
The girl was from the Middle East and said she’d dated two guys recently (no clue if she had sex with them, but possibly).
After the bar we A) open-mouth French kissed for a while AND B) I sucked her breasts.
I visited a pop up NHS clinic in my town and the nurse said that deep French kissing (even if vigorous) and breast sucking are both NO RISK for HIV transmission. She advised me not to test for HIV or any other STI’s based on these acts, therefore I have not.
Can I put this out of my head and move on?

Welcome to the forum. Thank you for your confidence in us and for reading other discussions with questions like your own.
You learned well. The information you quote from that earlier questions is accurate. Your NHS nurse also is right.
Use caution in looking at other responses. Our replies are tailored to the specific questions and often are tailored to our interpretation of their situation, fears, anxieties, etc. In this case, my reply fits your situation. There could be additional, extremely rare exposures that you don't mention and that might result in HIV transmission. Kissing and mouth contact with breasts and nipples are not among them. You were not at risk for HIV or other STIs and do not need testing for anything.
I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if anything is unclear.

Thank you, Doctor.
Therefore to wrap up the thread: I should now be worry-free about these events from an HIV standpoint and I can resume unprotected sex with my wife without any risk?
I appreciate your expertise. Best wishes.

Definitely yes: worry free and you cannot put your wife at risk for anything by continuing unprotected sex with her.---
