Hello I hope you all doing well and am your old friend...I want to post in terri forum but I am again here because I don't have and new exposure I am doing fine...read all my past question and review it then answer my question because am here glad to say that my all tests came back negative...
Few years back my chlamydia and herpes igg test came back positive you can see clearly in my old questions...
Am came here because my hsv1 igg and hsv2 igg both came back negative year back and also now it was CLIA method
I never had and symptoms never in this years you can see old symptoms years back I mentioned in old questions...
Dr hhh please discuss my case with terri and answer my question by reviewing my old questions....
Was that old test false positive or does my hsv antibodies disappeared over time...

HSV antibodies rarely disappear over time - if they do, it is called seroreversion but it is quite uncommon. Given the problems with the IgG test, with false positives, it seems more likely that your first test was a false positive and that these newer tests are more accurate, but I don't think either of us can say that for sure. Have you had any sores in the genital or oral area? Dr. Handsfield is also welcome to chime in if he wishes to do so.

My exposure was condom protected sex with csw in india in nov 2015 and I am also indian all tests all from india
I tested hsv igg1 and hsv2 igg at four months mark it was both negative...and after two years in 2017 October I got a lot itching on scrotum and hard bumps are formed no crust or breaked only on scrotum my venereologist diagnosed it will scabies I went away with treatment and after one month myself I tested with private lab hsv2 igg and it came back positive 5.6 and after 15days again tested both hsv1 1.85 and hsv2 1.65 positive and no symptoms at all and in 2019 one single lesion not water blister formed on scrotum also mild pain when it touched my under wear.. it was crust looked yellow inside no pus or water in it healed with in three days and upto now no any other symptoms came to me either orally or genetially...I previously posted all this dr hh said false positive test now my tests are negative for both year back and now... was my symptoms assemble herpes....

I think this is consistent with a false positive initially.

Ok thanks I have read many answers from this and your forum that most of false positive for hsv come from Asian people like me indian
1.Does my old symptoms assemble herpes
2.should I need further testing or should I move on
3.i was always tried my best to get outbreaks had alot of stress travelled many places like high temperature and cold weather tried my best and had junk food and stressfull work sleepless nights i did not got any outbreaks got fever lost weight and drunken many times is this enough for herpes to get outbreaks???

Please try to move on without any further testing
