[Question #13883] HIV Risk

I tend to be overly cautious. As a practice I do not have anal sex and stick to kissing, mutual masterbation and occasionally but not often oral. Last evening I met up with a guy who stated he was hiv negative and on prep. I was looking to have my usual fun and stick with kissing, frontage and masterbation. While sitting on top of me he began to insert my penis in and as it started to go in I stopped immediately and slid him to the side where we finished matsrerbating. My only concern is i may have begun to penetrate and is that a real hiv risk and should i consider pep (i believe that’s what it is called).  Thanks as always for your thoughts.

Welcome back. I'll open by observing this is your ninth forum question and most of them reflect your tendency "to be overly cautious". This question is more of the same.

The chance a partner like the one you describe -- saying he is HIV negative and on PrEP -- has HIV is zero for all practical purposes. And even if he were infected, the very brief attempted anal penetration probably carried no risk of HIV. I would advise against even being tested for HIV on account of this event and you certainly do not need PEP.
