Hi Doctors,
I had a recent encounter with a woman, we kissed which involved tongue for 10 seconds briefly and she also performed a hand job on me with using her saliva as lubrication which lasted 10 minutes. Does this event put me at risk for HIV/ STDs or this a non risk event?  Thank you for your advice.

Welcome back to the Forum.  Thanks for your question which is quite similar to the one you asked about 10 months ago.  This was an entirely no risk event..  It is statistically unlikely that your partner had an STI including HIV however even if she did there is not risk from "french kissing" or receipt of masturbation, no matter how long the exposure and even is saliva is used for lubrication.  Without penetration most STIs, including HIV are not transmissible and even when penetration occurs (I understand it did not), most encounters with infected partners do not result in transmission of infection.  There is no need for concern and no medical or scientific reason for testing.  EWH---
