About 5 months ago, I had unprotected vaginal sex with a sex worker 2–3 times. She is a married woman who has been doing this work for 20 days and said she hadn’t had unprotected sex with anyone else. Since I knew nothing about these diseases, I wasn’t worried. About 45–50 days after the risky contact, during a 10-day period when I didn’t change my clothes or take a shower, a pimple appeared on the hairy part of my genital area—it was swollen and had pus at the tip. I clearly remember squeezing that pimple and pus coming out of it; later, another one appeared right next to it, also swollen and with pus at the tip. There were no blisters or anything similar. At the same time, these pimples appeared on both sides of my head, above my ears. On the 70th day, I saw an infectious disease specialist; he only looked at the pimples on my head and asked if the pimples in my genital area had pus at the tip and if they were in the hairy area. He said they resembled eczema-like pimples and prescribed an antibiotic cream. He had me undergo all tests except for HSV. I had no symptoms; after extreme stress, I experienced occasional burning sensations in my feet and hands that came and went. Sometimes I feel a slight discomfort when I first urinate. I’ve had muscle and joint spasms, and my tongue turned white with blisters forming at the back.
