Good afternoon doctors,
I am sorry to return and thank you for all you do. This question is just for reassurance as I have browsed through a bunch of different threads and just want to get assurance that my assumption this encounter was essentially no risk is correct. Went to a massage parlor this morning. The masseuse spit on my genitals twice and I immediately asked her to stop. She then gave me a handjob with whatever saliva came out as lube. I then received oral sex with a plastic covering and it appeared to remain intact for the 2-3 minute duration. After reviewing the threads it appears I am at zero risk? My major concern would be hsv2 which given the circumstances seems like zero risk but just want your input if there are any other std I should be worried about or if I should test. Thank you again in advance

Welcome back to the Forum. It is my pleasure to provide you with the reassurance you seek. This was a no risk encounter. HIV and other STIs are not transmitted in saliva, nor by receipt of masturbation, even if a partner's genital secretions (or saliva) are on their hands. The plastic wrap provides further protection although a condom would be preferrable. HSV-2 is virtually never transmitted by oral sex and is not a concern. The only form of herpes transmitted through receipt of oral sex is HSC-1 which over 60% of people already have. I woul dhave no concerns and see no medical reason for testing. EWH---
