Hi. Visited a csw for massage in sydney 24 hours a go. She did a breif nude massage and then i turned over when she place a condom on with her mouth pulling it down to shaft, she gave me protected oral for about a minute. She then lied down on her back and asked me to come on top. I did some shallow thrusts maybe 5-8 protected sex making sure the unprotected based of penis where condom doesnt cover wasnt in contact ans then she finished with hand job with condom removed. woman is from Thailand. I just wanted your advise on STI’s in this situation. I am regretful as i have a regular partner (wife) that i dont want to hurt. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to our Forum. Thanks for your questions. I'll be glad to comment. In Australia most CSWs are licensed and there licensing requires regular testing for STIs. It is unlikely that your partner had an STI. Further, even if she did, your risk for infection is close to zero. Most single unprotected exposures to infected partners do not result in infection and in your case your exposure was condom protected. In addition, there is no risk for STI from receipt of masturbation. I see no reason for concern and no medical reason for testing although I understand that you may desire the reassurance that having a negative test can provide. If you choose to test, I am confident that the tests will show that you were not infected.
I hope this informationis helpful. Please don't worry. EWH

Thanks Dr Hook. She was a private csw not sure if she follows any protocol re testing.
Reading other replies looks like 6 weeks is the minimum for testing all applicable STI’s?
I know its no guarantee but assume its ok to have regular sex with wife based in probability?

Even if she was not licensed your risk is close to zero.
The most important STIs to test for are gonorrhea and chlamydia and a urine test will provide accurate results any more than 3 days after your encounter. At 4 weeks testing for HIV will be more than 98% conclusive and at 6 weeks testing for both HIV and. Syphilis will be conclusive. We strongly recommend AGAINST blood tests for herpes in situations such as yours. The results are often unreliable and misleading.
One follow up remaining. Try not to worry. EWH
