Early on Saturday (3am)ish in the morning I engaged in unprotected anal sex with a gay male. I was the one giving it. He also gave me oral with no condom, I had my tongue touch his anus and we had our penis rub together. It lasted probably 20ish minutes, And he swears he is clean and has no stds and doesn’t often engage in unprotected sex. Obviously I don’t just believe him. I didn’t see anything that looked to be like any type of rash or bumps while we were doing it. I am in a relationship with a woman and do not want to pass anything along to her.

I am making a appointment with a dr tonight (Sunday 6pm) and going to ask to be put on doxyprep to help avoid some sort of std. The pharmacy won’t be open untill Monday morning and that’s when it will start. My question is

this too long of a window to take the doxy prep? And how concerned should I be with contracting some sort of STD? How long should I stay away from engaging in sex with my girlfriend? Also should i go get tested after taking the doxyprep and if so when?
