[Question #14082] Short unprotected vaginally sex

67 year old male. I had an encounter with a 42 year old French sex worker paid 700 EUR for 3 hours. After some mutual masturbation, she came on top of me and inserted my penis into her vagina. She was still wearing underpants and penetrations was not too deep. I estimate that this lasted less than 2 minutes. After that we continued with a condom. I have asked her for her status and she said she took test about a month ago. She didn't specify what test. What are my risks of an STI and HIV. Do you recommend any testing?

The encounter was two days ago.
I wasn't even sure that I had penetrated her but the next day I asked her and she confirmed that I did. She also said that she tests regularly, typical about once a month.
I am married but due to our age I very rarely have sex with my wife.

Welcome to our Forum.  Thanks for your questions and your implied confidence in our service.  I'll be glad to comment.  It's hard to judge just how much of an exposure this was.  As a rule STIs (including HIV) are not transmitted through material (e.ge. underwear) and penetration while wearing underwear is quite unusual.  The use of a condom for the majority of the further reduces your risk of infection.

As a generalization, this was a relatively low risk encounter.  Your partner, as a high priced CSW, is unlikely to have an STI.  Her testing history further supports the low probability of infection (most people do tell the truth).
Testing in the absence of symptoms is a personal decision.  I do not feel strongly that you need testing but many of our clients appreciate the additional assurance that negative tests provide.  Testing for the most common STIs (gonorrhea and chlamydia) using a urine test will provide reliable results at any time more than 3-4 days after your encounter.  Testing for rarer STIs (syphilis, HIV) would be highly reliable at 4 weeks and conclusive at six weeks.

I would not be worried.  EWH
