Hi Drs, thank you for all you do. I'm sorry to be back so soon. I happened to have another encounter, on June 4th, with a stripper that got friskier than expected. I did think this was a largely safe encounter. Started with handjob using saliva as lubricant. Then short period of oral with condom applied, wasn't working so went back to hand with saliva lubricant. About 9 days later, had some irritation on glans. Redness, splotchy with one patch more pronounced. Treated with anti fungal / neosporin / cortisone cream mix, generally abated without proceeding to blisters. Issue only present on glans. I was thinking this could be balanitis, I had seen some white crusting at the base of glans under foreskin. After several days of no issues, I had a very stressful evening and awoke to more redness and irritation of glans. I wiped with towel, and one "patch" (in a different areas than the week before) really didn't like that and seemed irritated with tiny vesicles or bubbles. Now I am concerned about HSV1 from the exposure. I can say my long term partner of over 20 years has oral HSV1. Although I have never had an oral or genital manifestation, I would be shocked if I had not gotten HSV1 from her over the years. Appreciate your thoughts, my understanding is that HSV, or any STI, doesn't "come and go" over the course of a week, would not "respond to topical creams" and doesn't "move around the infected area".
