[Question #14113] Tingling near groin

Hi 12 days ago I received unprotected oral sex from a woman who was also giving oral sex to another male just before.
Yesterday around 2pm (12 days after event) I started to get a bit of tingling and discomfort in my general penis, groin and testicles area - mostly the shaft of my penis. I've had phantom tingling in the past and this definitely felt like a level beyond that - I would call it mild pain or discomfort that would come on and off. But when I touched around my penis and groin area I could find no spots that burned to touch, or were tender or gave any sensation at all from touch. Nothing on the outside. It seems the discomfort was more internal.
My question is about HSV-2 concern. This discomfort peaked yesterday around 8pm and since then is still here at 2pm today (13 days after oral sex event) but less intense for sure. I remember reading here once that if you feel the pain/discomfort and that means a herpes outbreak is going to happen it would happen quite soon after. Not like days later. Is this correct?
I have no other symptoms just this on and off discomfort sometimes more intense than other times. No signs of any lesions or anything like that. Could this be a sign of herpes or any other STI?
