[Question #14123] Protected sex with csw

Hi. Yesterday in a drunken state I has a csw come to my hotel room in the UAE.  I fingered her vagina and ass and we had protected vaginal sex and oral sex on me. Today I filled the condom with water and water leaked out from a hole that was around 3 to 4cms from the tip. I think that the hole may have been caused by her using her teeth to open the condom.
I am a married man so I am going out of my mind with worry. Does the hole in the condom put me at risk for HIV or any STI. Thanks

Welcome to our Forum.  Thanks for your questions.  I'll be glad to comment.  The exposure you describe was low risk.  Most CSWs in the UAE do not have STIs, including HIV.   Your masturbation of her vagina and anus are absolutely no risk events for all STIs.   When persons have a single unprotected sexual encounter with an infected partner, transmission occurs substantially less than half the time and condoms provide excellent protection against STIs in the unlikely circumstance that your partner had an infection.  The hole in the condom does not worry me- the "water test" for condom integrity is a poor test- when condoms fail they typically break wide open leaving no doubt that there was a failure.  In your circumstance I would  have little concern and would not bother to test.  Admittedly, some clients appreciate the added reassurance that negative tests provide even in virtually no risk situations such as yours.  If you wish to test, the most important tests are for the most common STIs- gonorrhea and chlamydia- and a urine test for these organisms will provide conclusive results and time more than 3-4 days after your encounter.

I hope this information is helpful (and reassuring). EWH
