16 days ago today i went to an asian massage parlor for a massage. i thought this was a reputable spot as the reviews indicated that it was. While lying on my stomach she did touch between my butt cheeks some. I am also very embarrassed to say that at the end she gave me a hand job using massage oil. She was fully clothed during the entire massage. I have chronic intertrigo on my inner upper thigh between my leg and scrotum on one side, i believe she only briefly touched that area in passing, that area tends to sometimes have broken down skin. Yesterday evening i noticed a small red raised (looks like a pimple) bump on the head of my penis just below the top of the urethra. No pain or pustule. . I am terrified of an STD and worried about my life long partner. This was never my intention, but unfortunately i did not stop it.

Welcome back to the forum. You asked a somewhat similar question several years ago -- I'm glad to help again.

No STDs are transmitted by hand-genital contact, nor by any other touching to any body site -- including your buttocks. Your intertrigo does not change these facts.

As for your penile bump, it doesn't fit well with any STD. From your distant past question, I see you tested positive for HSV1 antibody, meaning you are infected with HSV1. However, you also reported having typical cold sores as a child, indicating oral HSV1 infection -- which rules out new HSV1 as a cause of the bump. In any case, a single red bump would be an unusual symptom and 16 days is longer than expected before symptoms might start. You can safely assume it's not an STD and your regular partner is not at risk. If the bump persists or if additional ones appear, you could see your doctor (or a dermatologist) for further evaluation. But you can be sure it has nothing to do with the massage events you have described.
